Hotel 88 offers a solid balance of luxury and value, making it an excellent choice for families seeking comfort without breaking the bank. The hotel is conveniently located just a quick stroll from Dotonbori, providing easy access to shops and eateries while nestled in a quieter area. The rooms were spacious - a rare find in Japan! We could comfortably fit our family of four, plus all our luggage. The housekeeping service maintained cleanliness well, and we loved the daily supply of fresh water and towels. While there wasn't breakfast offered, the 24-hour drink station with free tea and coffee was a nice touch, and allowed us to enjoy a moment of relaxation after a day of exploring. Add in the free transport to Namba station, where staff assisted with our luggage, and you have a strong value proposition. Hotel 88 combines practicality with a comfort that ensures a pleasant stay. We'd definitely consider returning for our next Tokyo adventure!
